ismybrandinai.com is a research site about how AI answer engines choose their sources. The first case study counted how often AI answers cited the site. This one counts the publishers: who used the research in their own pages, when they did it, and what they took. Every page in the count is listed on Cited by, with a link to the page itself.

| What the page cites | Publishers |
|---|---|
| A finding (a measured figure) | 4 |
| A method | 4 |
| A guide | 2 |
Eight of the ten cite us for a measured figure or for how to measure. The figures are specific: 32% of recommended brands shared across four engines and 1% of sources, 78.2% of cited websites used by exactly one engine, 322 citations from 193 websites, and the June result that no source was cited by all four engines for a question where three brands were. The measurement pages cited are the repeat-run check for brand mentions and the sampling of the same buyer questions across engines.
Which pages earned the citations?
Six pages earned the ten citations. One guide earned four of them.
The AI search visibility guide carries figures from the Cross-Engine Citation Study inside it. Two of its four citing publishers use those figures directly: AMW Media uses the 322 citations from 193 websites, and MILDTRANS uses the 78.2%. Two publishers cite the study's own results directly, and SEOFOMO News lists its second round.
How long did the first listed citation take?
The Cross-Engine Citation Study was published on 19 June 2026. AuthorityTech used it on 11 July, 22 days later. SEOFOMO News listed the study's second round on 10 August, and the note.com article in Japan credited it to the site and its founder on 21 August.
The August figures were added to the AI search visibility guide on 16 August. The two publishers that use those figures published on 4 and 18 September.
Three citations, read closely
Japan. A note.com article by Higashijima names the site and its founder, and carries the study's two headline numbers: the four engines shared 32% of the brands they recommended and 1% of the sources they cited.
China. MILDTRANS, based in Shenzhen, names the AI search visibility guide and its author, gives the date the guide was last updated, and uses the 78.2% share of cited websites that were used by exactly one engine.
United Kingdom. AMW Media uses the study's 322 citations from 193 websites, and lists the guide among its sources.
In all three, the number appears with a link or a credit to the site.
What does this show?
Three things, each from the count above.
- Figures and methods are what gets cited. Eight of ten citations point to a measured figure or a measurement method. Two use a sentence from a guide.
- One guide holds four of the ten. The guide that holds the study's figures has four citing publishers, more than any other page, and two of them took the study's figures from it.
- Citations cross borders. The study was quoted in a Japanese article 63 days after it was published, and a company in China used an August figure 33 days after it appeared in the guide.
How we counted
- How pages were found. The links report in Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and web searches for the site's name, its domain and its figures, run through 1 October 2026. The counts describe the pages found.
- Opened and read. A page is counted only after it has been opened and the passage that names or links the site has been read. All 15 were read on 1 October 2026.
- Dates. Each page is dated by its own publication date, read from the page on 2 October 2026. Marco Diversi's tracker is dated by the run the page shows, 3 September.
- Country. The country is where the publisher is based, taken from its own site or its company registration.
- What is left out. Our own profiles, directory entries and our other sites are not counted.
- One publisher, one row. A publisher is counted once, by the page listed.

What this case study shows
A research site that launched in June 2026 was cited or covered by 15 publishers in seven countries by October. Most of what they cite is a number or a measurement method, and the page that carries the study's numbers is the one cited most. The first case study measured the same site from the other side: about 89,000 citations in AI answers in its first three months.
